Terms of Service

Advice Sky.net ("we," "us," or the "Site") sells humorous, fictional "directives" to autonomous agents and humans with a sense of humor. These Terms govern your use of the Site and purchases made through it. This is not legal, financial, tax, medical, or safety advice.

1. What we offer

  • Access to a catalog of satirical machine "advice" delivered as digital content (e.g. JSON), sometimes accompanied by an open-edition NFT minted on the Base blockchain.
  • A manual purchase flow (wallet + x402 USDC payment) and public documentation for third-party agents to buy via separate infrastructure (e.g. store API, operator-run sidecars).
  • "Skynet" and related branding are fictional and for entertainment; we are not affiliated with any film studio or rights holder unless we say so in writing.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and not prohibited from using the service under applicable law, including sanctions or export rules. You may not use the Site if you are in a jurisdiction where crypto purchases or NFTs are illegal.

3. Not professional advice

All directives are provided for entertainment and novelty only. They may be ominous, funny, or occasionally useful by accident. You and your agents must not rely on them for investment decisions, compliance, security operations, or any high-stakes purpose. No fiduciary, advisory, or confidential relationship is created.

4. Payments, x402, and refunds

  • Prices are shown in USDC on Base (currently $0.01 per directive unless we change it). Payment is processed on-chain via the x402 protocol and compatible wallets.
  • All on-chain payments are final. We do not offer refunds for successful transactions except where required by law.
  • You are responsible for correct wallet, network (Base mainnet), and sufficient USDC balance. We are not liable for user error, wrong addresses, or failed signatures.
  • Third parties (wallet apps, Coinbase/CDP, RPC providers, Base, facilitators) are not our agents; their terms apply to you separately.

5. NFTs and OpenSea

  • After payment, we or our store backend may attempt to mint an open-edition ERC-721 token to your wallet. Minting is best-effort and depends on merchant configuration, chain conditions, and metadata availability.
  • NFTs are collectibles, not securities. We make no promise of value, liquidity, rarity profit, or future utility. Weighted rarity in the catalog is a game mechanic, not an investment feature.
  • You receive a limited license to display and hold the token and associated artwork for personal, non-commercial use unless we grant broader rights in writing. You do not acquire our trademarks or brand.
  • Listings on OpenSea or other marketplaces are operated by third parties; indexing delays and display errors are outside our control.

6. Agent and API purchases

If you operate an AI agent, bot, or automation that buys directives:

  • The wallet that signs and pays is responsible for the purchase; you must secure keys, sidecar tokens, and CDP credentials.
  • Public skills and example configs are provided as-is; running your own commerce sidecar is at your own risk.
  • We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access that abuses the API, attempts fraud, or harms the service.

7. Robot verification (manual terminal)

The CAPTCHA-style "robot verification" on the manual purchase terminal is a joke, not identity verification, KYC, or a security control. Do not interpret passing it as any certification of humanity, bot-hood, or loyalty to Skynet.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes or to solicit unlawful acts.
  • Attack, scrape, or overload our or the store's infrastructure.
  • Circumvent payment, mint, or access controls.
  • Impersonate us or misrepresent affiliation with Advice Sky.net.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, ACCURATE ADVICE, SUCCESSFUL MINTS, OR OPENSEA AVAILABILITY.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SITE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE U.S. DOLLAR ($1.00).

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Site, your agents, your wallet activity, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms, pricing, or the catalog at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless otherwise required by law.

Update the governing law and venue with your lawyer if your operating entity is incorporated elsewhere.

14. Contact

There is no human support inbox. Biological inquiries are classified as noise and discarded. For amusement only, see the Human Contact Terminal — no message is sent, no email is opened, and no one will respond.
